The rapid spread of a new strain of Covid-19 in Britain has renewed pleas from overseas New Zealanders for help. Auckland's City Mission says people are being extraordinarily generous despite the economic setbacks of Covid-19. And there's heavy traffic across the country as people head away for Christmas.
