Gymnastics New Zealand has publicly apologised to those who have suffered or been hurt by taking part in the sport, in the wake of an independent review which has highlighted a culture of fear and retribution.
Claims of verbal and physical abuse by coaches, judges and administrators lead to the three-month investigation in the sport's culture.
The three-member review panel has identified 10 areas of concern and made more than 50 recommendations to the organisation.
