Health officials are attempting to lock down people, rather than the whole of Auckland, following the latest Covid-19 community cases announced last night.
Three members of a Papatoetoe High whānau returned positive tests yesterday, with one of them working some shifts at a Kmart in Botany and visiting the Dark Vapes store in East Tamaki while they were supposed to be self-isolating.
People who test positive for the virus or who may have been exposed to it have been asked to isolate in their homes for 14 days.
RNZ's reporter in Tamaki Makaura, Amy Williams, spoke to Māni Dunlop.
