Balmy weekend for some amid warm autumn
It was an unseasonably balmy weekend for some parts of the country.
April temperature records were broken in Whitianga yesterday when it reached 27.8 degrees celsius.
And Gisborne (29.1C), Wairoa (30.0C) and Rangiora (29.8C) all recorded their second hottest April days.
