Returnees in Novotel Auckland Airport have MIQ stay extended

125 people in the Novotel Auckland Airport managed isolation facility will have their stay extended after two returnees tested positive for Covid-19 on day 12 The other returnees staying at the Novotel are now required to remain in the facility until the genome sequencing results of the cases are available, in case the virus was transmitted in the hotel.
