Wild weather splatters and batters the country

It's a wild weather day with a red warning in place for heavy rain for parts of Westland and Buller. Roads are closed due to slips and surface flooding. And strong northwest gales are battering the west of the country, and the Wellington area. Metservice meteorologist Lewis Ferris talks to Māni Dunlop.
