Waka Kotahi is warning motorists they can expect roads out of the Auckland to be very busy tomorrow.
The Auckland borders come down at 11.59 pm with Transport Agency staff helping police to dismantle the checkpoints overnight.
The Agency is recommending motorists monitor traffic updates and use the Waka Kotahi Holiday journey tool to help plan the best time to travel.
