There were tense scenes at Parliament on Monday morning, as large concrete blocks were lifted onto the road to block vehicle access to the occupation.
More than 300 officers started at 3.30am, barricading eight different streets around the outskirts of the protest, preventing people from spilling further into the city centre.
That prompted an emotional reaction, putting Police and protesters in a face-off for hours,
