Sydney begins recovery from devastating floods

Rain has abated in Sydney and floodwaters are slowly receding, but many residents are still struggling, as a giant cleanup begins. Emergency services are still needed to get supplies to stranded people in areas north of the city, while there's widespread damage to roads and infrastructure. Thousands aren't yet able to return to their homes, and it may be some time before normality returns for many workplaces and schools.
