Lessons for NZ in Australia's Budget

Australia unveiled its budget this week and the Finance Minister Steven Joyce will deliver his first Budget on Thursday May 25th. Any lessons? "We are in a different place to where the Australians are," Mr Joyce says. New Zealand's got a surplus, Australia a deficit but even so he says he doesn't have a lot of freeboard - and wouldn't be drawn on what's in and what's out.
