There are reports the US will withdraw from the Paris climate change agreement. Simon Marks is covering this from Washington and says the signs suggest that President Donald Trump will make the call to pull out of the agreement. A longtime social worker says she's deeply concerned about what will happen to youth in Auckland as three million dollars of spending on crime and gang prevention comes to an end this month. Chief executive of the Strive Community Trust Sharon Wilson Davis told our reporter Rowan Quinn she was devistated her organisation will not be able to continue its vision. Accommodation providers vow to fight back against Auckland council's targetted rate. But they say they can't afford the rate, but neither can they afford to take the council to court. New Zealand's climate change minister says the government will not follow suit and pull out of the Paris Agreement, as the U-S has done.
