Govt checking Rocket Lab for ocean litter

A NIWA report has found the ecological impact of jettisoned rocket debris is less than pollution from the fishing industry, but a build-up of debris on the ocean floor from repeated launches could be problematic. Minister for the Environment Nick Smith has proposed another analysis after Rocket Lab completes 100 launches.
