Brownlee to new govt: 'Good luck' with Australia
Former Foreign Minister Gerry Brownlee has wished the new government good luck trying to get a better deal for New Zealanders in Australia. He's warned it will find the job quite different from being in opposition. His successor Winston Peters this week spoke to his Australian counterpart Julie Bishop about the trans-Tasman friendship. Earlier Mr Peters told reporters that relationship needed serious work.
