Joanne Harrison: 'I did ridiculous things with the money'
The Ministry of Transport fraudster Joanne Harrison has been denied parole for a second time because she's still deemed an undue risk to society. She was jailed for three and a half years in February last year for defrauding the ministry of more than $700,000. RNZ political reporter Benedict Collins has been following the story from the outset. He tells us Harrison told the Parole Board she'd given extra money to her business partner, as well as giving money to charity and buying food parcels.
