There are calls for the next head of New Zealand's biggest company, Fonterra, to be homegrown - and for the salary to be given some hard thought. Chief executive Theo Spierings, who's been in the position for seven years, is leaving the cooperative later this year. His resignation from the $8 million role came shortly after the company announced a $348 million loss for the six months to September.
