Motor industry flat out as airbag recall drives up business
Owners of cars fitted with potentially lethal Takata airbags face wait-times of up to ten days to get them replaced following the compulsory recall just two weeks ago. The Alpha-type airbags, thought to be installed in around 50,000 New Zealand new and imported cars have the potential to deploy with explosive force and have killed 23 people internationally.
