Domestic violence pushing some children to consider suicide

Children as young as seven are telling social workers they've thought about ending their lives to escape violence at home. Between July 2016 and July 2017 13 children aged between 10 and 14 killed themselves. In 2016 police investigated 118 thousand cases of domestic violence. Jill Proudfoot from the domestic abuse charity, Shine explained the link between the two issues to our reporter Charlie Dreaver.
