Australian pension rules leaving NZ family poor
A New Zealand family in Perth says Australian pension rules are leaving them penniless. Johno Walsh broke his leg playing in the park with his children at the end of April. He's not eligible for sick pay to cover it but he and his wife Debbie Walsh, from Hawke's Bay, have found out their income protection insurance won't pay out either till the end of June. She went to the benefits office, called Centrelink, to see about getting access to their seven years of superannuation paid while living in Australia. She tells Phil Pennington about the struggle.
