Convicted killer left early from mental health unit - report

A schizophrenic man who stomped a pensioner to death was hastily discharged from an Auckland mental health unit three days earlier because the unit was full. The High Court has released an internal Auckland District Health Board report into the release of Gabriel Yad-Elohim who murdered Michael Mulholland outside his Western Springs flat.
