Education taskforce chair dismayed by anti-reform campaign
The head of a taskforce proposing a major overhaul of the school system is aghast at schools' plans for a campaign against the suggested reforms. Bali Haque from the Tomorrow's Schools Review taskforce says he has seen draft material from a group of high-profile Auckland secondary schools that is setting up an alliance to fight the plans. He told our education correspondent, John Gerritsen, he is not bothered by criticism but a draft document from the group worries him so much he is speaking out.
