How donations are being spent after Christchurch mosque attacks
The generosity of New Zealanders was in full force in the wake of the mosque terror attacks with more than $9 million donated to the victims through a Give a Little fund. A further $2.7 million was also raised by the Islamic Information Centre and $4.8 million has been donated to the Christchurch Foundation. The Give a Little campaign was launched by Victim Support, a Ministry of Justice initiative. So far, more than $800,000 has been paid directly to victims to cover a range of costs. Kevin Tso is the chief executive of Victim Support and speaks to Guyon Espiner.
