New Plymouth firms urged to drop 'Naki' from branding

A Maori academic says more Taranaki firms should consider dropping the word 'Naki' from their branding. The head of Te Wananga o Aotearoa's New Plymouth campus, Denis Ngawhare, has appauded IT company Naki Cloud's decision to rebrand to Our Cloud after approaches from Maori upset about its name. Dr Ngawhare tells our Taranaki Whanganui reporter Robin Martin the company should be applauded and others should follow suit.
