Migrants waiting on parents' visas feel like political pawns

Families waiting for a Government decision on whether overseas parents can join them as New Zealand residents say they feel like political pawns in a fight between coalition parties.

Immigration Minister Iain Lees-Galloway says he is yet to reach consensus with coalition partners over the parent visa category, which was suspended in 2016.
