Settlements of the long-standing teacher pay disputes appear imminent.
Education Minister Chris Hipkins says the teacher unions and the Education Ministry are in the final stages of their negotiations.
The announcement came a week after Mr Hipkins called a special meeting with the Post Primary Teachers Association and the Educational Institute to try and find a way to break the deadlock in their pay talks.
