Immigration advisers and lawyers say they're being targeted by Immigration New Zealand when they try to hold officials to account.
Immigration New Zealand admits it marks the files of visa applicants when they lodge complaints.
It says by noting who their advisor or lawyer is, complaints are easier to sort out.
But advisers and lawyers spoken to by RNZ News say Immigration NZ is creating a climate of fear.
