Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says the number of people arriving into New Zealand is increasing, and doubled on last month.
More than 4000 recent arrivals are now in managed isolation, but places in Auckland are at capacity and hotels in the region are now being used..
Another 900 people are expected to arrive in the country over the next two days.
