More than 135,000 Auckland children are overdue for a dental appointment after lockdown made existing delays even worse.
Dentists worry that is going to leave a lot of children with increasingly serious and painful dental problems.
They say that can have a huge impact on their sleep, their schoolwork and their happiness.
