In the US, President Donald Trump has been directly challenged during a television interview as he repeated falsehoods about Joe Biden, his rival in this November's Presidential election and his own record battling Covid-19.
The interview aired on the Fox News Channel, a network normally sympathetic to Trump.
Chris Wallace, the presenter of the Channel's Sunday morning political talk show, did not hold back, as Washington correspondent Simon Marks reports.
