The Prime Minister's office has been unwittingly caught up in the latest National Party scandal after it was sent material last week.
The communication complained about National MP Andrew Falloon.
After seeking permission, the complaint was then forwarded to the National Party leader Judith Collins.
Falloon has now resigned after it was revealed he sent an indecent picture to a 19-year-old woman.
