Health care workers in Waikato are confused and stressed as the District Health Board seems mysteriously to be cutting home care for vulnerable people.
Workers say there's been a lack of communication with clients and workers on the ground. Now they're fearing their hours will be cut back or even worse, their jobs gone.
The DHB says no instruction has yet been given to cut the services.
