The Post Primary Teachers Association says they started fielding calls from worried teachers as soon as it was announced they'd be returning to the classroom under Alert Level 3.
On Monday the Ministry of Education told Auckland schools they will be allowed to let some senior students return, provided they observe physical distancing and stay in bubbles of no more than twenty.
The PPTA says it's concerned that some Auckland schools opted to allow the Year 12 and 13 students to return without first consulting its teachers.
