Specialist says chronic pain services being starved

A leading pain specialist says a huge group of New Zealanders are having their lives crippled because chronic pain services are being starved, and aren't provided at every DHB.

Any pain lasting longer than three months is classified as chronic pain, and it's estimated one in five people suffer some form of this.
