Returnee not happy with standard of PPE used in managed isolation

Workers in managed isolation and quarantine hotels here have been called some of the worst protected in the developed world by a PPE expert staying in one.

Tim Jones works for a company that's been providing protective gear for hospitals all over the world during the pandemic.

He's been isolating at a Christchurch hotel and says he's shocked that most staff are wearing the bare minimum PPE, even when dealing directly with guests who could have coronavirus.

Health correspondent Rowan Quinn reports.
