A suspect and a police dog are both in a stable condition after a serious shooting incident in Northland yesterday.
The male suspect was shot three times by officers after he fired at a police dog.
The officers were in pursuit as the man was wanted for cannabis and firearms charges.
This is the fourth shooting incident in Northland in less than five weeks leaving the community in shock.
