The Employers and Manufacturers Association says the quick shift out of Alert Level 3 and the availability of a support payment will be helpful for hard-hit Auckland businesses.
On Wednesday the government announced the Resurgence Support Payments would be available to businesses after just seven days instead of 14, and would include time at Level 2.
The alert levels will not be reviewed until Monday - so at least a full seven days.
