Ōtorohanga District Council looking to increase pokie machines

From Morning Report, 7:28 am on 29 March 2021

Ōtorohanga District Council have voted to loosen the rules for venues, moving away from a longstanding 'sinking lid' policy.

Public submissions close on April 1, and if the councillors fail to change the original vote, the community could see an increase in pokie machines.
