Heavy rains in Timor-Leste over the weekend have left at least 42 people dead, over 10,000 homeless and countless missing.
The country's deputy prime minister said it was the worst flooding the country had seen in 40 years.
UN Resident Coordinator in Timor-Leste Roy Trivedy says the flooding will push people further into poverty.
He spoke to Morning Report producer Stacey Knott.
