Dunedin is in shock after a violent attack at a central city supermarket.
A man stabbed staff and bystanders at Countdown Cumberland St on Monday afternoon.
He has now been charged with attempted murder. Dunedin's mayor Aaron Hawkins spoke to Guyon Espiner.
