Authorities are pausing search and rescue operations at the partially-collapsed building in Surfside, Florida to prepare for the likely demolition of what remains of the Champlain Towers.
At least 24 people are confirmed dead in the collapse and 121 are unaccounted for.
The demolition comes as Miami prepares for the arrival of Tropical Storm Elsa which is tracking toward South Florida, with heavy rain and strong winds expected to hit tonight.
