Australia is trying to persuade dissatisfied nurses to move to sunnier pastures.
Half page ads in the New Zealand Herald have recently appeared extolling the virtues of Queensland and the need for nurses there.
New Zealand Nurses Organisation industrial services manager Glenda Alexander told Morning Report she was "very concerned" by the ads.
