Occupiers of a proposed housing site on Miramar Peninsula are braving Wellington's winter weather, and say they'll stay there as long as it takes.
The Taranaki Whanui treaty settlement trust is in discussions with the government to buy the Mount Crawford land for a potential housing development.
But the protesters fear the proposal will put profit before people.
