The head of ExportNZ expects a pilot allowing business travellers to forgo MIQ and isolate at home will attract a many applicants.
The industry group represents a sector that accounts for $85 billion of the country's GDP, three-quarters of a million jobs and these days more than a few "enormously frustrated" corporate members.
Executive director Catherine Beard says 18 months of the MIQ status quo feels like a very long time.
