Waikato is waking up today in alert level 3 step 2 and retailers can open their doors. People can also meet outdoors in groups up to 25, and the two household meeting restriction is also removed.
Waikato confirmed a further 18 cases overnight, with six in Hamilton, five in Te Awamutu/Kihikihi, four in Ōtorohanga, two in Ngāruawāhia, and one in Kāwhia.
