Survivors of abuse by the Catholic Church say the number of complaints released by the church fails to capture the real number of sufferers, which could be six-times more.
The new figures from the church show one in seven Catholic clergy who work for a bishop have had abuse complaints laid against them.
More than 1100 survivors have made almost 1700 complaints since 1950; most against priests, brothers and nuns for sexually abusing children.
