Fiji's attorney-general Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum has announced on Twitter a SpaceX team is in Fiji to help reconnect Tonga to the world.
It comes two weeks after Elon Musk offered to send Starlink terminals to Tonga to help repair the communication links.
Starlink uses satellites to connect remote areas to the internet.
It comes 25 days after Tonga lost all communications when its Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha'apai volcano erupted, severing its undersea cable.
