The darkest chapter for the Catholic Church in this country, a place of horrendous child sexual abuse, a sanctioned brothel and a haven for criminals.
These are just some of the ways victims have labelled the Marylands School in Christchurch at the Abuse in Care Inquiry.
It's now completed its hearing into the school and the abuse inflicted on boys, by brothers in the Order of St John of God, between 1955 and 1984.
