Some homes in Porirua north of Wellington may be raised, relocated or bought-out as the City Council grapples with it's flood-prone future.
The Council is spending almost $18-million upgrading its infrastructure to reduce flooding risk for homes in the worst hit Karehana area of Plimmerton.
Now it's proposing to spend millions more to help people living in the most vulnerable homes.
