US President Joe Biden has announced he's banning all imports of Russian oil as countries worldwide continue to tighten sanctions on Moscow.
The UK said it will phase out Russian oil imports entirely by the end of December, and the EU's committed to slashing energy imports by two-thirds.
Russia provides more than 40 per cent of Europe's energy needs, but only around 3 per cent of American oil supplies.
