The government says it has no plans right now to broadly review the recent occupation of parliament's grounds and the subsequent violence that roiled the capital.
The police minister says a review of police actions is being left to the police watchdog.
Labour has also blocked a select committee from questioning the police commissioner over the protest, a move National justice spokesperson Paul Goldsmith says shows that the government "has no interest in transparency".
