Large southerly swells have caused problems overnight along Wellington's southern coast.
The Wellington Region Emergency Management Office warned residents from the Capital's southern coasts all the way up to the Wairarapa.
Yesterday sandbags were delivered to residents in Ōwhiro Bay and others boarded up their garages.
